What's a slack?

Slack is a chat service that runs on your web browser, phone, tablet, or I guess fridge if you have some fancy web-enabled fridge. Not sure. Our fridge is mainly for beer.

Why do I want it?

If you're here, you're a DM listener and want to be more involved in the board games & craft beer community we're creating! That's awesome! Our Slack channel has discussion rooms for games, beer, kickstarter, TIME Stories, and more - plus, #TheTopic channel in which we discuss our per-episode "Final Round" topic as started in Episode 65.

What's it cost?

Nothing. We just want to chat and hang out with you. Just be cool and no game or beer shaming. Otherwise, Bob will need to have a word with you.

How do I get in?

Real easy - click the logo up there, or this link, or even THIS link.

Superpower of Choice

by The Liberation Jumpsuit

The Liberation Jumpsuit was a funky power pop band that existed in the Blacksburg, VA area in the 2000s. Led by my college friend and radio co-host, Drew, TLJ released three albums including the one featured here, Superpower of Choice. When we began the podcast, I looked around for great music to use beyond the standard loops and bumpers, but couldn't find anything that fit the feel we wanted. I happened to have Superpower of Choice in my car CD player the day before recording episode 3 and it clicked. A few messages to Drew later, we had our backing music.

I spoke with Drew about giving the album a second life on the website here and he was excited for the chance to get it back out there again. On the show, we (currently) use four tracks:

Main Theme / First Bump: Superpower of Choice
Second Bump: Prototypical
Third Bump: Fat Kid
Spoiler Episodes: Rinse/Repeat

We hope you enjoy this little slice of funky fun!

The Liberation Jumpsuit was:
Drew: Vocals, dancing
Dan: Guitars
Sam: More Guitars
Jeff: Bass and production
Ryan: Many drums
